The Copthorne winning team

Copthorne Golf Club is in the process of having a new sun lounge built and it was hoped to be completed by the time of our event,  However, the club had worked hard to provide as much space as possible whilst the building work was being carried out and our thanks go to General Manager, Peter Walter and his team for making the day a success.

Thanks also went to Norm, Copthorne’s new (to us) caterer who providing a splendid lunch.

Our honorary starters were Bob Edwards and Danny O’Sullivan of Copthorne who the older members will remember were great supporters in their day.  Unfortunately Danny had a fall up the steps when going home which meant he ended up leaving the premises in an ambulance!
